'Everything in our clinic is designed to reduce dental anxiety.
When we continuously find new ways to care, we really make a difference.
That's why we exist.'
Crown lengthening surgery is performed to help restore a tooth with prosthetics such as a dental crown. The surgery involves exposing more of the tooth area to secure/support the prosthetic crown. The gums are temporarily displaced while a tiny portion of the supporting bone of the mouth is usually removed. This surgery is done to give greater area/length for the crown to be mounted securely on the tooth - making the crown more durable for the long term. This surgery requires experience - your expert dental surgeon would plan detailed long term treatment with you to complement this surgery or potentially suggest implant surgery or other treatments as alternatives if they suit you better.
