Dr Jaclyn Toh has loved the health sciences and drawing since childhood. This began when she had appendicitis when she was 6 years old and read up about the appendectomy in the hospital the night before the surgery. Dentistry allows Dr Toh to marry her passion for art with the rigour of the sciences in a hands-on profession. When attending the prestigious Dublin Dental School and Hospital of Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, where she also qualified with honours, her lecture notes were full of illustrations and diagrams. Practicing in Singapore since 2011, Dr Toh has cared for patients from all walks of life, even treating three generations of the same family.
Dr Toh brings an eye for detail and a gentle touch to her work. A great believer in holistic dental care, she emphasizes the basics of prevention to complement maintenance of advanced dentistry. She is passionate about bringing the best of the latest research into clinical practice through continuing education.
Dr Toh advocates minimally invasive and biomimetic dentistry following the Style Italiano philosophy, based on her experiences as a clinician and also as a patient.
She is passionate about endodontics (treatment of the root canals and pulpal disease) as an important part of her general practice of maintaining natural teeth where possible.
Dr Toh is a certified Invisalign provider, and has a special interest in combining restorative cosmetic dentistry with orthodontics.
